Can we put a sliding gate on our mezzanine floor?

The way that we can use mezzanine floor access points has changed with evolving health and safety guidelines. It is no longer exceptional to have a sliding gate mechanism on a mezzanine floor as an access point as it is now deemed a permanent hazard if not closed off properly. These issues can easily be solved using gates such as a Cantilever and this is an excellent way to conform to the current legislation and ensure that all persons using such access points can do so safely.
